This Hawaiian Lullaby Beach Blanket Set from Haku Collective is available at Pop-Up Mākeke and brings you this soft microfiber towel-like beach blanket with a waffle texture. It has a large surface which gives you lots of room to spread out with your little ones or even by yourself!
This large blanket features imagery inspired by songs off of Haku Collective's Grammy® Nominated Hawaiian Lullaby album. The beach blanket tells the unique stories that are found in music. The reverse side of the blanket features the beautiful Mahina or moon phase design.
Hawaiian time was organized with the passing of each moon phase and the passing of each day. Each cycle is made up of 29.5 days. The lunar calendar is divided into three periods: hoʻonui (growing bigger), poepoe (round), and emi (decreasing). The moon also directed the activities of kanaka around farming, fishing, and gathering.
This blanket was made from absorbent, lightweight waffle microfiber that is impossibly soft to the touch yet is also extremely durable and fast-drying. The microbe-resistant towels are sand-resistant and would make a great laying mat, outdoor blanket, etc. Unlike other blankets that are the same size, it is lighter in weight, which makes it easy to take with you anywhere.
