  • Polipoli Farms

    Proudly located on Maui

Polipoli Farm's founders Brad and Lehia, grew up in the same neighborhood in Maui, and now they are cultivating their farm in nearby Waiehu, within the 'ili of Polipoli.

They believe that to grow for the future, they must first learn from the past. Generations of Hawaiians proved to be master agriculturalists who were able to feed themselves using their island resources. By approaching farming from a native perspective, Brad and Lehia strive to nourish their community and also foster a cultural connection that feeds people's hearts.

Polipoli Farms is situated within the Nā Wai ʻEhā ("The Four Great Waters") region, which is known for its abundance of fresh water. After arriving on the ʻāina, Brad and Lehia discovered that it was covered in thick guinea grass. As they cleared the land to prepare for farming, they discovered the traditional terraces used for growing kalo (taro) were still intact.

Ancient Hawaiian farmers naturally practiced what is now called regenerative agriculture, which is leaving it better than before. Polipoli Farms aims to honor this indigenous wisdom, one seed at a time.

Their regenerative agroforests are packed with important cultural foods, including the māmaki and ʻulu that goes into the brand's authentic Hawaiian Herbal Tea. Māmaki is found only in Hawai'i and is treasured in lāʻau lapaʻau (Hawaiian plant medicine). ʻUlu, or breadfruit, is another nutritional powerhouse central to the Hawaiian diet.

Savor the ancient wisdom from Polipoli Farms in every sip!
