Hanauma Earrings

Today we think of Hanauma Bay on the Eastside of Oahu as a beautiful (but touristy) marine sanctuary

The name Hanauma has several possible meanings as this bay was a favored fishing area for Hawaiiʻs aliʻi or chiefs.  It was also a canoe landing spot as itʻs a sweeping sandy bay with calm waters after crossing the Kaʻiwi channel.

These lightweight Hanauma Earrings feature natural shell and a vermeil cowry shell.
