The founder's granddaughter Haumea was born with a rare medical condition PFFD that leads to one leg being shorter than the other. Her courage and determination are the inspiration behind the brand.
The brand's products are made in America, and a portion of their proceeds are reserved to support the communities in Hawaii, such as Hawaii's Children's Miracle Network, where Haumea was recognized in 2020-2021.
It is Haumea Hawaii's hope that people from around the world will have a chance to visit the islands one day and feel the spirit of aloha coursing through the brand.
