Good coffee growing conditions require high altitudes, tropical climates, and rich soil. Hawaii has been producing coffee since the mid-nineteenth century - before it was even a state. Kona coffee sourced in the Big Island is used for this soap collection. Kona's geography provides ideal growing conditions with morning sun and ample afternoon moisture - combined with well-drained and rich volcanic soils.
