Transparent Pink Hawaiian Haku Mini (3 Cluster) Lei with Pink Unicorn Beads - 23"

Due to the nature of the agreement with the vendor, this product can not be returned or exchanged.

The translucent pink rose petal beads are mixed with soft pink seed beads and with extremely beautiful unicorn beads, which are intricate hand-blown borosilicate glass beads for a rich and distinctive look in the 5" focal section. The rose petal beads are all loosely arranged on this beautiful necklace lei at 23'. This design truly pops out as an art piece, so expect to receive many compliments, as it will truly start a conversation at any event you attend.

This necklace lei is finished with a white acrylic magnetic end cap (unfortunately, it got slightly scratched in the gluing process, but that will not show when worn; the price is reduced due to that flaw—see last photo).

The Haku Mini Lei is designed with a 3 or 5-part focal section yet is lighter than the original Haku Necklace Lei we launched in 2020. Each Lei blends rose petal beads (some use large lentil beads) with fire polish and unicorn beads (or mushroom beads) to achieve the stunning effect that it does. This necklace lei drape gently to compliment the neck and cleavage line. This new design pops and you (and the necklace lei) will be the conversation at any event you attend.

This latest design captures the essence of Aloha - and makes a perfect gift for a friend or loved one! As a beautiful glass beaded necklace lei each necklace is handcrafted on Maui and involves meticulous attention to detail while braiding. The bead patterns we use look similar to flowers, but this lei will endure forever. These necklaces feel wonderful to wear and require little to almost no care by using a clean, dry towel every few months to keep dust-free and bright.

Akalei is Hawaiian for "bead reflections" which describes this unique necklace lei design style handcrafted only here on Maui. We reinterpret traditional Hawaiian Lei using a vast assortment of glass and natural beads, Japanese silk and synthetic fibers, and a wide variety of braiding techniques and inspirations from across the globe.

This beautiful handcrafted necklace lei was made using hundreds of glass Japanese seed beads on multiple cords woven together on a wooden marudai stand. It is created using an ancient Japanese braiding technique called Kumihimo, a Japanese word for “gathered threads." Randy Spicocchi hand-braided this Haku mini, and Rebecca Ann Combs of developed the pattern.

Kumihimo is an art form that dates back hundreds of years. Braids were made for use in armor for Japanese samurai warriors. In modern times, these braids are designed as belts (obijime) worn with a kimono.
