Mike grew up in Haleiwa and loves local foods, especially comfort foods like Huli Chicken. He started his company in 2010 in Kahaluu to share unique local tastes. He is now at the Kahuku Sugar Mill and Radford HS on the weekends. Mike uses Kiawe wood and naturally flavored Hawaiian salts. He was selected by Chef Alan Wong in 2013 for Chef's Feed for his Hawaiian-style menu with his Huli chicken.
He has become very successful and featured on DDD-Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives as well as the Travel Chanel, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan's food channels. His latest success is his FAMOUS Mike's Huli Chicken Dippin' Sauce. the locals and mainland guests LOVE IT and can't get enough of it. "His moto is winna, winna, chicken dinna"
