Ka Mahele Puke Kaʻena Aloha (HWN)

Ka Mahele Puke Kaʻena Aloha (book series) is an 8-book collection of ancient Hawaiian legends from the Waiʻanae Coast on the island of Oʻahu. Written entirely in ʻŌlelo Hawaiʻi, titles in this series include No Nanaue Ke Kanaka Manō, No Ka Pōhaku ʻUmeʻume ʻIa o Nānākuli, Hoʻopakele ʻIa e Hiʻiaka, No Nā Mākaha No Mākaha, No Paliuli Me Hiʻilaniwai, No Lonokaʻeho Me Nā Pōhaku o Tahiti, No Ka Pū Niu, a me No Ke Kanaka Puhi o Kawīwī. This collection was created and produced by Native Hawaiians of Waiʻanae. A portion of the proceeds goes to scholarships for those who participated in the creating of this series.
