Liliuokalani Never Cease T-Shirt Womenʻs V-Neck Cut

"Never cease to act because you fear you may fail" were the words of Queen Liliʻuokalani to her hanai daughter, Lydia K. Aholo. These words were spoken in 1917 by the Queen as she reflected on how thin the difference is between the disposition needed to keep or to lose a kingdom. With this design, we aim to encourage discussion amongst all of Hawaiiʻs people so that we may better understand how we have arrived at this critical moment in history. By understanding our history, we can better comprehend our present and foresee our future. Queen Liliʻuokalani stated that "the way to lose any earthly kingdom is to be inflexible, intolerant, and prejudicial. Another way is to be too flexible, tolerant of too many wrongs, and without judgment at all. It is a razorʻs edge. It is the width of a blade of pili grass." Having aloha helps us to understand this fine difference. Having aloha helps us to be tolerant, but not too tolerant, and to be flexible, but not too flexible. That is the purpose of this design. We encourage all people to take action in the face of your fears. The pili grass reminds us to have aloha in our hearts as we engage others in our actions. This Hawaiian shirt is a fine jersey fabric made of 60/40% cotton/poly blend and is lightweight at 3.9oz. We have a womenʻs cut and unisex cut.
