Aloha! We are four sisters from Hawaii, so different but entirely alike in our love for our families and faith in God. We come from a big family where there is always something beautiful going on at our parents’ home: bridal showers, baby showers, anniversaries, birthdays, baby gender reveals, Christmas dinners, Thanksgiving lunches. Every event is delicately fashioned to the delight of the honoree. Organically our parents’ home became the nucleus of our inspiration…and Sal Terrae was born! We have created graphic designs for our platters, bowls and dishtowels to evoke warm memories of family gatherings, memorable occasions, delightful laughter around the dinner table, and conversations in the family room. The graphics on the ceramic pieces are printed on special paper (food safe), hand applied, and “cooked” in the kiln for 2 days. We love our pieces and we hope you will too and enjoy them with your friends and family for many years. ‘Ohana (family) is very important to us. And, you our customers are ‘ohana.
