Ka Wai a Kāne (Paukū 1) - Blank Greeting Card

This artwork was inspired by the Hawaiian song He Mele No Kāne,which speaks of where in nature the waters of Kane can be found. Inspired by the first pauku (verse) this artwork shows the rising of the sun in the east.

Aia i kahikina ka lā, puka i Haʻehaʻe. Aia i laila ka wai a Kāne.

At the Eastern Gate, where the sun rises at Haʻehaʻe. There is the water of Kāne.
