Melted Marine Debris Plastic Keyrings

These Melted Marine Debris Plastic Keyrings from Upcycle Hawaii are available at Pop-Up Mākeke and get their color from the fibers of ropes and nets, which are re-covered during local beach cleanup efforts.  

The selected ropes are taken home before being washed and dried. The cleaned portions are then broken down into their individual fibers, which are melted together with post-consumer plastics to create a lightweight and durable material. 

Each keyring will have its own unique look, meaning you will get a one-of-a-kind piece. The colors will match the photographs shown, but the pattern will vary for each individual item.
