Kainoa was first introduced to digital art while attending Ke Kula Kaiapuni 'o Keaukaha, one of the first Hawaiian immersion schools allowed operating in the State of Hawaii during the early '90s.
As a local artist, Kainoa has said it is an honor to perpetuate the Hawaiian culture and find new mediums and share the founder's aloha and respect for Hawaii.
